I know President Trump is only trolling Canada (and it is funny) about becoming a 51st state, but I’m still gonna say it:

No thanks! Let’s take a hard pass on that one!

That would be like adopting another California, only without anywhere near the GDP or income, or natural resources, or any of the other good things about California. And when it comes to the lunatic-liberals that dominate the political landscape there – it would be just like adopting them, only, again – without any of the benefits that California has.

Let’s look at their population – it is comparable to California’s. About 40 million.

Meet Justin Trudeau’s replacement: Mark Carney. Another liberal. Meet the new boss; same as the old boss. I guess their parliament just decides who will be their Prime Minister.

And now, they’re mad.

Canada has about a $50 billion trade surplus with the United States. In his usual style of protecting the American taxpayer (what a concept!!!!!), Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff would go into effect on April 2nd, in an effort to even that deficit/surplus out, making it more to our advantage. That’s what made them mad!!! The audacity!

So, like Europe, Canada believes they are entitled to these surpluses while we are running a national debt of $36 trillion. No biggie.

Also, Canada is a member of NATO. And just like nine countries in Europe (and it was many more until Donald Trump called them all out about it), they are obligated to pay a mere 2% of their GDP toward their defense. However, just like Europe, they don’t. Canada is still paying into NATO only about 1.3% of its GDP.

They are subsidized by us through the NORAD shield: meaning, they know that in the event that they were invaded or attacked by another country, the U.S. would protect them in order to protect ourselves. So, I’m assuming Canada thinks, ‘Who needs NATO? Who needs to honor our commitments to NATO by paying our full duty? Why bother? The United States will protect us.’

And then, once the tariffs were announced, the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, announced that he would “shut off the electricity” of Minnesota, Michigan and New York states, and that he would do it “with a smile on his face.” Don’t blame me, those were his exact words.

Can someone tell me exactly how petulant a person must be to get mad that someone finally has the backbone to stand up to your pillaging of our money, sets out to stop you from taking advantage of us any longer, and you’re mad about that? Mad enough and immature enough to threaten to turn off the electricity to three states? What is wrong with your head??? Pop. of Michigan: 10 million. Pop. of New York: 19.5 million. Pop. of Minnesota: 5.7 million. Now you’ve made 35 million people not only mad, but determined to take back our energy industry and supply it to ourselves. We know we can’t rely on you for anything, Canada, except your decades-long abuse of our economy. You are only parasitic in your character and nature, sucking the life out of us like much of the rest of the world. And for too long our so-called “leaders” have let you eat us alive.

How stupid can you be? Zelenskyy, Trudeau, Macron, Ford, Biden, Harris, etc., etc.

You are all the same: Un-American.

And so, President Trump announced yesterday that he would double the tariffs on all Canadian goods coming into the U.S., effective tomorrow (today, March 12, 2025). A few people in Michigan and New York were worried that their electricity would either be shut off or double in price, but for the most part, they didn’t care. It would be worth it in a trade war with the audacious, spoiled, and whiny Canadians. They are, after all, not Americans. They lack the fortitude and willingness to sacrifice, as many Americans have, time and again, in the way of blood and treasure to save and secure the world. You’re welcome, Canada, Europe, and the rest of you ingrates, for all the years of letting you suck the blood out of us while we do nothing but protect you.

You are all un-American.

Next? Ontario’s Doug Ford apologized to the American people. I’m sorry, not sorry, that we are finding this all funny at my house. Very funny. 🤣😆😂

Ford made assurances that a trade deal would be settled between the two North American nations prior to the April 2 deadline during an interview on WABC’s “Cats & Cosby” — and added a very Canadian “Sorry, eh,” directed toward US citizens.

“I want to apologize to the American people. I spent 20 years of my life in the US, in New Jersey, in Chicago. I love the American people. I absolutely love them,” Ford told hosts John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby.

Well, you just revealed just how much of a man-child you are, Mr. Ford, now, didn’t you? 🤣😆😂

They also give us an open border, by the way.

Open border, trade surplus, not paying obligations; haughty and immature leaders.

Now, if we were to adopt them into our beautiful land, they would get 2 Senators who would undoubtedly be democrats. And they’d get – how many U.S. House of Representatives does California have? – 52. I had to look it up. It’s 52. 43 are Democrats and 9 are Republicans.

With the same demographic as California and the same pervasive liberalism, Canada would get some 50-52 members of the House of Representatives, of which most would undoubtedly be democrats.

So, no thanks.

They’re just too Canadian to be Americans. And they don’t know it, but that’s the biggest insult you could ever suffer coming from an American.
