If you’re like me, you’ve probably always associated Cracker Barrel with it’s original logo, and assumed the company’s logo and interior design were honest reflections of who they are as a company. Right? By way of association, most of America thought the Cracker Barrel brand and its corporate values were aligned with traditional American values.
Old fashioned, country store vibe and some wholesome, good food = traditional, wholesome, good brand recognition.
Well, we have all been completely hoodwinked by them.
When the controversy over Cracker Barrel’s logo began a few days ago, I thought it was literally only about their logo. That’s what the TV news said. Boy, was I wrong. As usual, you can’t get the whole story about anything by watching the TV news. As I’ve been saying for awhile now, if you want to know the real story about any subject, or even if you just want to catch up on news in general, the best place to go is always –
Yes, Cracker Barrel has a new logo. It’s plain, doesn’t give off any message, at all. However, it’s not offensive to me. The move from the old-timer by a barrel logo they used to have, to a plain-jane logo like the one below, would indicate to me that maybe the company wanted to move away from having an “old” feel to it…and would be moving to the “center” in terms of design. Not too old-fashioned to be out of date, but not all the way to “Industrial Modern”, either. That’s what it looks like they’re trying to accomplish with these changes as a corporation.
And yes, Cracker Barrel has a newly remodeled look to the interiors of their restaurants. I actually like it.
But the logo and interior redesigns are not what this is really about, at all.
Here are some interesting things I learned on X tonight about the big Cracker Barrel fuss, which you’ll never find out by only watching the news:
Apparently Cracker Barrel has been hard at work supporting the LGBTQ+ and Gay Pride agendas, as well as racist DEI programs:
But wait, there’s more:
Cracker Barrel has been “posing” as a traditional, down home, wholesome American company, and all the while they’ve been hiding what they’re really about. This is not about the logo or the restaurant remodeling. According to the above post, Cracker Barrel is secretly a full-blown-woke corporation. They’ve been funding, supporting and promoting DEI programs as well as Gay Pride and Drag Queen Show events with kids present, all over the country, for some time now.
The rainbow-colored rocking chairs they proudly display at their Pride events are a much more accurate depiction of what their logo really should be.
I can’t think of any organization that fools the public more, projecting an image to all of us that is exactly the opposite of who they really are!
Even the democrats don’t do that. They hid their putrid evil from the public for a long time, and the truth about them is still hard for many (lost souls) to see. But their insidiousness is finally being exposed. Oops. (And their stench is reaching God’s nose.)
And thanks to X and other social media sites, Cracker Barrel is being exposed now, too. Because on X, it’s a BIG subject. Good job, woke Cracker Barrel. Good job.
