I want to tell you something you’re missing entirely if you only get your news from cable TV or the regular channels – ABC, NBC, or CBS. I’ve been watching the news all night, and at the same time watching X, having logged onto it 3 or 4 times tonight.
Right now, “Illegal Aliens” is trending on X, with 256,000 posts, although to me it seems more like millions of posts and comments. There has been a fury of posts about the Big Beautiful Bill and the ensuing fury of the people over the fact that the Senate GOP allowed Medicaid for Illegal Aliens to be kept in the bill.
The people are furious! And absolutely disgusted. That the Senate so-called “Leader,” John Thune, hid behind some out-of-nowhere woman, who is a staff member of the Senate – not an elected official – and allowed her to cut the ban on “Medicaid for Illegals” which puts the Medicaid for Illegals back into the bill. The House bill had cut all Medicaid and Food Stamps from being allowed to be issued to Illegal Aliens. The Senate put Medicaid Health Care AND Food Stamps for Illegals back in. Now, I guess Food Stamps came back out but Medicaid Health Care is still in for Illegals. This “Parliamentarian” – who no one’s ever heard of and literally no one voted for – is apparently running the show. And John Thune is letting her.

And it’s war on X. In fact, that’s a misnomer. There’s no war because there’s no one opposing the fury. It’s the one thing everyone agrees on!
By the way, “Big Beautiful Bill” is also Trending with 332,000 posts, and “We the People” is Trending with 395,000 posts.

Here’s a little taste of what’s going around like wildfire. (And, I’ve only seen one story about this today on cable news on the Carl Higbie Show on Newsmax. Watched Fox all night – nothing.)

AMEN, Seven!! Jerry and I fully agree with you and all of those who still have brains who posted their objections on X! The Senate is full of disgusting fools. Yes…Thune should have REMOVED the so-called “Parliamentarian” immediately! Thirteen years is more than enough for this made-up position! V.P. Vance should do it NOW if Thune won’t!! It is ridiculous that the Senate believes it is right and fair to put ILLEGAL ALIENS on Medicaid when our country’s legal CITIZENS who NEED Medicaid coverage have to jump through hoops to be approved for it! Not to mention the millions of dollars wasted through fraud. It is infuriating! Gloria
