ISRAEL IS A RACIST STATE

July 18, 2023

Poor Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal of Washington State’s 7th District. And for all of you woke liberals out there in Seattle who voted for her: you’d better disavow her now and never vote for her again. If you think you will get away with this ultimately (I’m speaking about your eternal destiny right now), you are deceived.

From jewishjournal.com:

Jayapal, who chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus, was speaking on a panel during the Netroots Nation conference when pro-Palestinian activists disrupted the session; Jayapal responded to the disruption by saying: “I want you to know that we have been fighting to make it clear that Israel is a racist state, that the Palestinian people deserve self-determination and autonomy, that the dream of a two-state solution is slipping away from us.” Her remarks sparked a fury of backlash against her; the American Jewish Committee tweeted that Jayapal’s comments were “slanderous” and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations said in a statement that Jayapal’s remarks were “evocative of Soviet-era antisemitic tropes attacking Jewish rights to self-determination.”

Congresswoman Jayapal is chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. And that should tell you all you need to know about her.

NBC News and Politico (and several other mainstream media outlets) all say she walked her comments back. Ha! What a farce. What she actually did was double-down.

Again, from jewishjournal.com:

In a statement posted to social media, Jayapal said she was attempting “to defuse a tense situation” but acknowledged that “words do matter.” “I do not believe the idea of Israel as a nation is racist,” Jayapal said. “I do, however, believe that Netanyahu’s extreme right-wing government has engaged in discriminatory and outright racist policies and that there are extreme racists driving that policy within the leadership of the current government. I believe it is incumbent on all of us who are striving to make our world a more just and equitable place to call out and condemn these policies and this current Netanyahu government’s role in furthering them.”

You can read the full article here:

As usual, when the Left can’t win an argument by their positions, values, intelligence or policies, they just claim racism. It’s their go-to scapegoat.

Does it sound like she “walked back” her comments? Does it sound like an apology to you?

It’s tantamount to a teacher telling a young student: It’s not that you are a terrible child; it’s just that your behavior is terrible.

(Pssst: the child hears those two things as the same thing.)

The New York Times says the response to her comments was a “hysterical overreaction.” You can read that article here:

A hysterical overreaction. Right.

What Israel is guilty of is nothing but self-defense. Greta VanSusteren thinks if Congresswoman Jayapal could just visit Israel, she would see the light. If she just saw with her own eyes the “tunnels of death,” set up by Hamas as pathways to gain access into Israeli territory and kill people in their campaign of terrorism, she would come around.

No, Greta…you are being naïve. You can pray for the upside-down, reprobate mind of Congresswoman Jayapal and her cohorts, but don’t fool yourself into thinking that if she just sees the physical reality, she’ll change. The reality is all around her. She just doesn’t have the (spiritual) eyes to see it. And if she can’t see it now, going to Israel and witnessing these tunnels with her own eyes won’t help her.

For a Biblical analogy, read Luke 16: The Rich Man and Lazarus. When the rich man lands himself in hell, he pleads with Abraham and Lazarus, who is being comforted by him, to let Lazarus go from heaven to the house of his brothers to warn them of the torment of the horrid place he’s in, so they will see the light and repent:

Luke 16 27-31

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

In case you don’t know it, the entire battle that exists today between Israel and the Palestinians over the land, which God said belonged to Israel (and which God laid out the boundaries for which far exceed the boundaries of the nation today), goes all the way back to the book of Genesis (read chapters 15 and 16) and the blessing of God given to Abraham, regarding the land. Did He give it to Isaac, the legitimate, promised son of Abraham and Sarah (with a pure Israeli bloodline), or did He give it to Ishmael, the illegitimate son of Abraham and his Egyptian mistress, Hagar?

The answer is in the Bible. If you believe one way (that the land now rightfully belongs to Israel), you are siding with God. If you see it the opposite way (believing the land belongs to Palestine), you are siding against God.

So, be careful how you think on this issue. It is of great consequence (to you!).

It’s that simple.

This is what God says about Israel. All through the Bible, Israel is “The Apple of His Eye.” Yes, they sinned and were stiff-necked. And He brought judgment in the way of destruction upon them for it. And what was their great moral sin? They put other gods before Him, even after all He did for them. And that led them into child sacrifice and sexual immorality – all the things He told them not to do. All the things we see as so prevalent in modern-day America.

Zechariah 2:7-9 NIV

“Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!” For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye— I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.

10 “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord. 11 “Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. 12 The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”

Be careful what you believe and be careful what you say, people. And be careful how you vote. Because if you side against God, you are placing your individual eternal destiny in peril as well as the destiny of this nation!!
